Metropolitan Youth Ballet is proud to share our state-of-the-art studio facility with local and visiting arts organizations and artists. Our smaller studios offer a warm and inviting rehearsal or class environment, while our bigger studio offers an expansive space designed with large scale production/group rehearsals, workshops, audition tours, and large group classes in mind.

Studio and Room Information

All three studios are equipped with sprung flooring and Marley overlay, floor to ceiling mirrors, ballet barres (portable), studio lighting, and audio systems (with connection to stream audio directly from your phone or laptop).

  • Studio A: 50×40 (2000 sq ft); 19’ ceilings; 10×40 carpeted floor-level seating area with folding chairs
  • Studio B: 40×30 (1200 sq ft); 11’ ceilings
  • Studio C: 35×30 (1050 sq ft); 11’ ceilings
Rates
  • Studio A: $75/hr
  • Studio B: $60/hr
  • Studio C: $40/hr

Rates may vary based on non-profit status, timing, recurring bookings, and more.

Restrictions

No street shoes or tap shoes in studios, any children participating in a class or activity must be supervised by an adult, no food or drink except water allowed in studios. No alcohol, tobacco or vaping allowed on the premises. Use of common areas (dancer lounges, waiting area, kitchen) are not permitted unless renting the entire facility or with special arrangements. No sharp edged props or chairs without felt covering to protect the dance floors.

Additional Information

Metropolitan Youth Ballet of Indiana is not responsible for accidents, injury, illness, or loss of group or individual property. Renter must have their own liability insurance, or each participant must sign our liability waiver. By proceeding with this agreement, you confirm that you are responsible for any accidents, injury, illness, or loss of group or individual property.

Renter is financially responsible for the repair or replacement of any damaged property of Metropolitan Youth Ballet resulting from the renter or their participants’ use.

Renter understands that the facility may be occupied and shared by others during the term of rental, including, but not limited to the operations of Metropolitan Youth Ballet.

Free parking is available at the front and side of the building. All areas are wheelchair accessible.

Ready to reserve space or need more information?
  1. Fill out and submit the Studio Rental Inquiry Form. We will contact you to discuss your needs and confirm availability and pricing.
  2. Once your request is approved, we will email a Rental Agreement Form and Liability release for you to sign and return, as well as an electronic invoice. Return of signed forms and receipt of payment will confirm your booking and your rental will be added to our calendar.
