About Us

Metropolitan Youth Ballet of Indiana (MYB) is a non-profit, pre-professional ballet academy committed to providing exceptional dance education that nurtures dancers to their fullest potential as performing artists and engaged members of the community.

Our experienced and dedicated faculty offer instruction in ballet technique, pointe, pas de deux, character, contemporary, modern, and jazz, and dancers of all ages enjoy meaningful performance opportunities throughout the season. Our training, based on the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, will equip students with the skills necessary to succeed at the collegiate and professional levels while encouraging all dancers, regardless of their long-term goals, to achieve their personal best and to have fun as they follow their passion for dance.

In addition to our core curriculum, MYB offers specialized programs including our Day Program for homeschool students, Soloist Initiative, Boys in Ballet program, and Summer Camps & Intensives.

As an active member of the Metro Indianapolis arts community, MYB presents professional-quality, affordable classical ballet performances, while also offering free outreach events at libraries, schools, and festivals. Our state-of-the-art Zionsville studio is one of the premiere dance facilities in the region and is available for rental to arts organizations seeking a space to create, learn, rehearse, and perform.
